Holden Comeau, Owner & Head Coach

I work at the intersection of data strategy, business priorities, technical infrastructure. I help organizations use data more effectively to uncover commercial opportunities, drive growth, and stay competitive.

My background is rooted in both strategic thinking and hands-on technical work. I've spent much of my career supporting early-stage companies, building the critical foundation. Over the years, I’ve developed deep experience in:

• Architecting data platforms and engineering scalable infrastructure
• Leading data discovery, mastering, and asset management efforts
• Delivering end-to-end business intelligence solutions and analytics strategy
• Driving product development initiatives anchored in data-centric thinking
• Applying data science and machine learning methods to real business problems

Entangled with my work, I’ve spent over two decades immersed in endurance sport, as both an elite athlete and coach. My athletic journey spans swimming, running, triathlon, and cycling esports, with experiences that have shaped how I think about performance, progress, and leadership.

Sport has never been a side pursuit for me; it’s been a consistent thread running through my professional journey. I was Co-founder and Chief Data Officer of a data analytics startup focused on endurance event organizers, and I led data platform strategy and engineering as Director of Data Innovation for a cycling esports game maker based in Abu Dhabi.

Currently a cycling esports competitor, I’ve raced over 1500 times, with more than 550 wins. I’ve held the World #1 ranking in cycling esports, was a USA National Champion, was a member of the USA Cycling National Team at the Esports World Championships, and co-founded the globally top-ranked esports team, Saris Esports. I also participated as a trialist with NYYC American Magic, training as a cyclor in support of America's Cup racing.

As a coach, I’ve worked with athletes of all levels, beginners to Olympians. I’ve served as an Olympic team member coach for USA Triathlon, worked with elite military athletes as coach of the US Marine Corps Triathlon Team, and helped rising professionals earn Rookie of the Year honors. I currently sit on the USA Cycling Esports Selection Committee, helping shape the future of the sport.

This athletic experience has grounded me in the value of long-term, structured development, and the discipline to pursue progress when the path is neither straight nor easy. The same mindset I bring to sport, I bring to work. Stay focused, lead with integrity, and always keep learning.
