Race. Every. Day.
At Half Wheel, we use cycling esports as a performance tool.
Trainer racing provides a predictable environment where athletes can train daily, under real pressure, against real competition, and with real purpose.
Through platforms like Zwift, racing becomes more than just an occasional test. It becomes the framework for your training. We select races based on the energy systems they target, the demands they create, and the opportunities they offer to sharpen decision-making and execution.
You don’t need to be an esports specialist to benefit. Many of the athletes we coach race outdoors across all cycling disciplines and triathlon. But they use esports racing as a structured, purposeful way to replace traditional intervals with something more specific and more engaging.
We don't chase volume. We don't train for theory.
We race with the intention of winning, and we build exacting strength in support of that goal.
If you're serious about performance, esports provides an unparalleled opportunity to race and win. every. day.

Meet Holden.
I'm Holden Comeau, the founder of Half Wheel.
I am a coach, business and data strategist, and lifelong athlete.
I’ve raced over 1,500 times on Zwift, won over 40% of those races, and spent years competing at the highest level of cycling esports, triathlon, and swimming.
I’ve coached national team athletes, Olympians, military teams, and enthusiasts of all levels learning how to win. I’m also a former Esports National Champion, three-time NCAA All-American, and co-founder of one of the sport’s first pro teams.
Half Wheel is built on everything I’ve learned from that experience. The training, the racing, the mistakes, and the breakthroughs.
Before cycling esports, I trained for theoretical future performance in races that were often months or years away.
Not anymore. This is racing. I coach from inside it. And I'll teach you the skill of winning.
